To play EuroJackpot, you have to pick five main numbers from 1 to 50 and two additional ones, so-called “euro numbers”, between 1 and 10, in the electronic form of the lottery ticket.

If nobody matches all of the numbers in a draw, the jackpot will roll over into the next draw, until it reaches its cap of €90 million.

If you live in a participating country, you can play Eurojackpot by buying tickets from an authorised retail store. Play cards will be available for you to mark out which numbers you want to play. After that, you hand the play card to the cashier to receive a ticket confirming your numbers and the draw (or draws) for which the ticket is valid. You will need to keep your ticket safe, as it will act as proof of your winnings if you win a prize. You should also sign the back of your ticket to demonstrate proof of ownership and to avoid legal disputes should you lose the ticket and someone else tries to claim the prize.
